Leveling Kit tire questions

Well I am getting my AS 2-1/2" Leveling kit put on this week and I ordered 33x12.50x17's I sure hope they fit. I have the stock tire on now and they are awfull close to the control arm. I hope I don't end up having to eat a set of tires.

I wanted to go 35's toyo mt's but I don't really think they are going to fit. Here is my truck. Love the web site.

Just put true dual super 44's on, sounds GREAT
had the windows tinted yesterday.
Have kickers to instal and need a spray in liner

My truck looks too stock, I am ready to get it leveled out.

those 35X12.5 Toyo Mt's would fit with a level kit!

I have that exact set up with a 2" Bilstein level strut on an 18" stock wheel! Works and looks great!

Rubs a little at full lock.... but not too much! You should be in great shape with those 33's

Cheers

I'm running 33x12.50x18's on my truck with a 2" AS leveling kit and I have no rubbing at all.

Yea that looks great. Have you thought about putting on some of the oem fender flares (black) on your fenders? I was thinking of doing that to break up all the white a little bit. I am ready to get all of this done. It looks like my pictures didnt end up showing up. I wonder why?

Great. I thought they would after reading all the treads here. then I started looking at my set up and that control arm sticks out pretty far, getting close to the tire. It is hard to fill up these fender wells.

Nemesis your truck looks a lot tougher than mine. I wish I had some 18's that would help. I could not justify putting that much into this truck. Maybe the next one, I will do wheels/tires lift and the whole 9. Your truck looks real great. What kind of oval bars are those on your truck? i like the black.

Ha no shi* brotha. I had myself convenced on buying a 6" pro compthat are right at a grand now but I heard some bad things. I decided to try this for now, and can always add to it later. I like my truck but really want to spend the money on an fx4 or king ranch. Have you looked at how cheap trucks are right now? for 20k you can buy a 35k truck.

That Black truck with the BFG's looks super.

Ok, I have a stock 06 SuperCrew 4X4 with 275/65R18, little over 32 inches tall. If I get Hankook AT LT275/70R18, about an inch taller but the same width I should be OK...right? No leveling kit

Well I got my leveling kit and tires on yesterday. i have to say I think it rides a little different from stock. It may just be the bigger tires. I can for sure tell I have lost allot of power. Not so much taking off but going down the road. Does the humming noise from the MT's ever quiet down? Here are pics of the new mods. It looks good but Im wishing I would have went with an A/T instead of the Mud tire. Here are some pics.

I got my leveling kit and tires put on yesterday as well, BFG AT 305/65/18.
I definetly noticed some power loss as well, the same way as you described. I love the way it looks though, but its a little shaky at high speeds. The tire shop claims its because of the wide tires, but wandell told me it's either a balancing issue or a defective tire. So its going to be hard trying to get this resolved with them. But anyways i'll have some pics soon.

Your truck looks good man.

Since I lost power I just ordered a Volant CAI off ebay for 269 bucks free shipping. That was much better than K&N and others around here. They were all around 350 installed. I hope to get some more information on the handling of my truck. The old girl is a little squirly right now. I will keep you guys posted on how the progress comes. I wish I was spending all of this money on a king ranch istead of an XLT......
