body lift and 38's... what should i do.

Ok so my tires are starting to look a little worn. I'm thinking about a body lift and some 38's. I don't want to put a leveling kit on my truck. I think that is a horrible idea for someone who offroads often like myself.
I’m only worried about losing more power. I do have gears (4.88's) but I do tow a lot and I’m already slow enough...

So I guess my question is should I do it or should I stick with the same size tire I already have? Right now I have 36x15.50r20

Personally Bud, I'd stick with the 36" tires (maybe a 37" ?) You plannin on stickin with the wide claws ?

Cheaper, better performance outta the truck, easier time towing, etc. Plus, I know YOU are used to your tires, but to anyone else, that truck still looks BAD.

Plus, the BL is a PITA to do and will throw that center of gravity up quite a bit. Its up to you though man, just my 2 cents.

yea i would stick with a 36x15.50, maybe get the mtz's instead of the claw just to change it up. im not sure... i know i dont want a 37" tire case i want it to be 15.50 wide, and no one makes anything that wide in a 37.

if you can afford it, why not

body lift is a pain to install but as long as you clean it up afterwards, it looks pretty good.

I'm running 37's and they are 13.5 wide. They just barely fit under my fenders so I don't have to add mud guards (per our laws in Cali).
The 15.5 wide do look better and more aggressive. I'd go 38's if I could but this isn't my daily driver.

dont do the body lift.. just get new tires.. and maybe some coilovers.

remember i had my old truck on 6" with body lift on 38"s... and at first i loved it.. then i hated it, its just to big and the tires would rub like crazy when flexing, 38" dont fit in the wheel wells. not only that but it had way to much body roll.
