2006 STX Rear Shock Help

I have a 2006 STX 4.2L and I'm needing some trailer towing shocks for the back of the truck. The OEM ones pretty much suck so I'm looking to get some better ones! Heck when I hook my 3 thousand pound boat to the truck it sits the back end down to much!

So what shocks would be the best for me?

Shocks are designed to dampen, not carry weight. What you need is either add a leaf, airbags or timbrens to help support the load.

Correct...shocks are not your problem, nor will the fix your issue AT ALL!! To help with the weight load you need exactly what Joe said...springs of some sort or air bags.

Shocks carry zero weight.
