well guys im new here and have saved up some money and i want to lift my truck. But im really confused on exactly what i need. I have a 1998 f150 ex cab. 4x4 so its sorta lifted but i wanted a 6" suspension lift. Can i just buy the fabtech kit? would that be all i need or due i need other parts? Im confused and dont wanna go to a shop till i know whats up. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks look forward to posting here.

 

The kit will come with every thing that you need. You can crank your torsion bars to get it to set level. Also do a search on torsion bars. There is alot of good info on them. BTW welcome to the site!

 

Yeah, the 6 inch Fabtech is one of the best lifts for our trucks. Depending on your powertrain, you may want to install lower gears.
