Allignment?

Put some lift spindles on my truck this weekend and everything seemed to be fine when moving forward. But when I back up, the tires (which are 37") tow in really bad. Can this be fixed with an allignment, or will something else need to be done? Thanks in advance.

Bump...anyone?

wandell 05-22-2008 08:27 PM

I believe that is normal.

azmidget91 05-22-2008 08:29 PM

umm no its not normal

any time you do any sort of suspension mod you should get an alignment

I took it as he was saying the camber changed as he turned the steering wheel.

Sorry for the confusion, I meant when I back up straight, the wheels dive (toe in) in. But when I put it in drive and start moving forward, the straighten up like nothing is wrong. Also when I begin moving forward from reverse, I here a lot of "popping" and strain be put on the tie rods. Just afraid to drive it now.

sounds like somethings loose

get it to a quality alignment shop and they should be able to tell you what's going on

I agree.
