Skyjacker Leveling kit

You know I found this site too late, 'cause it's already on--but how good is a Skyjacker leveling kit? I've been hearing a bunch of stuff left and right about leveling kits of all sorts in the forums here and nothing about this one.
Did I go the right route?
CV issue?
what should I have expected to pay for it and the install?
Overall it seems to not effect the ride or is this wishful thinking?

the problem with the sky jacker level kit is that it puts your CVs are very extreme angles. the 2.5 kit does to but not as extreme. people on here are running the 2.5 with no problems. the install can is very straight fwd. i had mine put on during some matinance work so i dont know how much i paid for it. ideally you should have gone for the 2.5 level kit but i haven't seen many 3" kits so i cant really comment on them long term

oh thats fine, skyjacker makes a 3" kit aswell. the 2.5 is fine. its going to be the same as any other 2.5" kit. you're CVs should be fine, there are plenty of guys on here running them for thousands of miles with no problems. i've had mine on for over 10,000 and havent had anything negitive happen

Most people agree that 2.5 inches is the practical limit for a leveling kit with these trucks. Anything taller creates really extreme ball joint angles which lead to premature wear. Skyjacker and other 2 and 2.5 inch spacer type leveling kits are pretty much the same. However, Skyjacker makes a 3 inch "leveling kit" that includes longer coilover shocks. I'd stay away from that kit.

Thanks for calming my concerns.
O.K. I'm quickly figuring out Wandell is the source of all things Ford.
Now, I really feel good about the kit.
