you dont need a leveling kit, all you need to do is crank the torsion bars. yes you will need to get an alignment after.

my dad wont let me crank the torsion bars because the truck has 313 000km and it is still his till i pay him back and considering i just bought the truck ive only payed him 1/4 of what i owe him. Do the leveling kits deal with the torsion bars or how do they work im new to lifting trucks ive always had 2wd and dropped them. any help would be nice please and thank you.

a leveling kit does the same thing as the torsion bars being cranked only it allows you to crank them even further then that which is very stupid. big waste of money.
