3 inch spacer and rear block with 35's
 

alright well i ordered a 3inch spacer a set of cruiser alloy 921c's with 35" toyo open country mud terrains i would like to order a block for the rear but i am having trouble finding the where can i get them at and also i've heard a 3inch is too much for the ball joints but at the same time im reading that people arent having any trouble with them i just need some help guys i really dont want to mess my new truck up :) but anyways any help will be gratefully appreciated thanks guys :thumbsup:

I looked at you profile and You have a 2005 but is it 2 or 4x4? You should look in the Aftermarket, Suspension forums. From what I have seen in the posts, guys run a 2 or 2.5" spacer and fit 35's without doing anything to the rear susp. It just ends up sitting level.

its 4wd yea i already ordered the 3 inch and i want it to still have a little bit of rake to it thats why i was wondering about the blocks because i occasionally haul a trailer or my four wheeler

i have an 05 4x4 also i have a 3" leveling kit and the truck sits perfectly level. if you need some rake you could do do an aal or get the larger blocks from autospring or fat bobs garage on ebay.

fat bobs has them awesome ill check that out thats where i got my leveling kit at it should be here friday how bad are the angles on your truck and how long have you used the 3 inch spacer any problems

the angles arent that bad. i have had mine on since sept and have had no problems with it. depending on the bs of your rims you may need to do some trimming.

so whats your backspace and how do you measure it my offset is -25mm i know right now its kindof a tight fit with my stock tires the rims are 18 x 10 my spacer will be here tomorrow and i have 35 scheduled to go on saturday i really hope they fit :confused:

Bs is the distance from the mounting surface of the wheel (where it bolts to the hub) to the rear edge. If your wheels are 10 inches wide, you are not gonna be able to fit 35's with only a leveling kit regardless of the bs. You will have to add a body lift, a full suspension lift or get crazy with a sawsall.

i went out and measured it and its lookin like either 4.5 or 5 on the backspacing theres guys on here with 10 inch wide rims running 35's i've already ordered the tires they will be here saturday i guess i will have to figure something out :confused: gettin crazy with a hacksaw doesnt sound like too much fun but well see what happens maybe i can figure something out how much do you think will have to be trimmed

Member's here running 10 inch wide wheels are running suspension lifts with 35's or 33's with a leveling kit.

there was a guy on here that is running 35's with 3" leveling kit with 17x9 with 4.75" bs and he had to cut a chunk out of his inner fender and still had rubbing. https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=324092 that is th thread. i think you are going to have a lot of cutting with a 10" wide wheel. could you call the place you ordered the tires from and have them changed out for some 33's?

well thanks i think im gonna have them mount the front ones up and see how much trimming im gonna have to do or just do some measuring ireally want 35's and like i said thy are coming in tomorow morning as is my lift if they wont fit i guess ill have to buy 33's instead but damn i hope they fit it would look soo good :drool:
