Can't decide between 3' body or 4' suspension

I've got a 02' 4wd Supercrew w/ a leveling kit and 33' **** cepek radials and i want to go with either a 3' or 4' lift but can't decide. Can I fit 35's or 37's w/ the 3' body lift? And will it drop my gas mileage drastically?

wat leveling kit are you talkin? i thought only way u could lift a 97-03 without a suspension/body was by crankin the torsion bars. with a 3" body u should have no problem tucking 35's.

as far as fuel mileage, if ya are that concerned about it i wouldnt put larger tires on it, because it will suffer. Each truck is different tho, the only thing i know for certain, mpg's wont stay the same or improve, good luck and some pics would be great!:beers:

You can fit 35x12.50's with a 3 inch body lift (barely). That is what I have. I have a 5.4 with 3.55 gears and get 13 mpg.
If you want 37's, get the body lift and a 6 inch Fabtech or RCD lift.

ok thanks. so if i went with the 3' body lift, i could go back later and add a 4' suspension right? And i've heard i will be able to fit the 35's w/ the 3' body but i've heard it will fit easily and that it will barely fit.....?

Yes, you can combine a body lift and a suspension lift. The easily fitting or barely fitting depends on what wheel you use. I have a 10 inch wide wheel and mine barely fit. I'd have more room if I had 8 or 9 inch wide wheels but I think the 10's look better.

just get a 6" Fabtech and put 35s on there

yea that's what i would love to do but i can't do it all at once. that's why i'm thinking about doing the body lift and then the suspension.
