03' F150 Fx4 lariat supercrew: 3" Body lift, but what about suspension?

Hey guys,

I've got a 03' F150 Fx4 Lariat Supercrew 4x4. I'm going to get a 3" body lift, cranking up the torsion bars, and am kinda settled on 35" tires. I was hoping to put 37" tires on the truck though.

So i'm thinking, maybe a little (tiny) suspension lift would help out, in addition to the 3" body lift.

Anyone know of a good, cheap way to lift the suspension a few inches? Like with shackles, leafs, spindles, or something? What other modifications would need to be done? Etc etc..

Thanks for any help guys. :santa:

Nope, there is none. After you crank up the torsion bars, your only option is a full suspension lift.

So adding blocks to the back, and 2" spindles on the front, won't do anything? Huh?

EDIT: nevermind.. that was for a 2wd. my bad. still searching.

Yep, lift spindles are for 4x2's.

do it right w/ a full suspension. fwiw, a 4'' lift costs nearly the same as a 6''.

I guess i'm going to end up spending of 1,000 for a 4 or 6" lift kit huh
