37''x13''

i have an 05 4wd, i just ordered a 6'' procomp susp. lift and a 3''body lift. will 37''x13'' tires fit? i have a 17x10 wheel w/ 4.5'' back spacing. any commets are appreciated.

they will fit. but you will need gears!!!

K.R. F-150 Feb 2, 2008 12:39 AM

thanks adam, do you think 488 gears will do the job?

Adam06FX4 Feb 2, 2008 01:58 AM

yes 4.88s would be the gear of choice for 37s

I agree, but I think you will be better off with a wheel with more backspacing or slightly narrower, or both.

i think the rims and tires would be fine. it would give you a "meatier" look and make the truck look mean. 4.88s will work wonderfully.

you ll be fine, you wont have to get gears by the way but the will help

approx. how much are people here paying to get 4:88 gears installed?

Doing my own body lift now and it is a job.....will finally finish it on monday (it is locked in the shop until then) will have a total of about 15-16 hours in it. My only real advise is on your 2d, 2p, and 4d if you can lift the cab off the frame and make sure you have a really good 1/2" drill bit. A press also comes in handy when pressing out the 2d, 2p, and 4d bushings that are press fitted in. E-mail me if you have any questions and I will be more than happy to help you out. Most of all remember to have fun.....it will more than likely throw a few curves at you.
