AS 2/2.5" kit and align question for those who have them

My local 4WP tells me I need a cam kit ($90 a side) to bring it back into specs when using these leveling kits. I was under the impression that toe was all that is required and if camber needs adjusted, the stock cams would do it. Those who have done it already...am I wrong in thinking this is un-necessary?

no you don't need them
I was told the same thing.I did mine with like 600 miles on the clock & had it aligned with out the kit by ford. about 5500 miles later I bought some really pricey tires & had them check the alignment at that time and every thing was still good

Agreed. Mine was far out of spec when I did the level, and NTB was able to get it well within spec (better than it came from the factory,) without any issues.

Well, that's kinda what *I* thought. It isn't moving the lower control arm down enough to make the camber THAT far out.

Thanks Guys!! I just wanted some reinforcement.

07screw: What size tires are you running & what leveling kit are you using?

Hey guys, is the AAL needed or does the AS pretty much level it out and the AAL is only wanted for keeping it level while towing?

I installed the add a leaf because I put on the 2.5" and the rear was about 1/4" lower than the front. Also I tow alot so I wanted it for that reason as well. As it sits now I am about 1 1/4" higher in the back which really isnt that noticeable.

So is there a 2" from any of the manufacturers? Which one?

I have the daystar 2.5" and the 3" block from autospring because after the leveling kit the front was a little higher
