Are the consequences really that bad

I really want to run a six fabtech , with the 2.5" leveling kit that is already installed in my truck. My question, will the added leveling kit + 6"lift really damage my truck (2005 screw fx4). Probaly the worst terrain my truck will see is sand. So tell me what you guys think

its going to put your cv's and UCA balljoint in a pretty good angle. i have never seen posts about failure of the balljoint, but it is definitely going to wear components out alot faster. id wouldnt go more than 2" on the spacer.

I suggest a 2" spacer, as long as you don't BEAT on your truck, the angles shouldn't be too bad to wear out everything. If you do than plan on replacing ball joints and CVs.

I had my 2.5" on for about 6 month. Ride was rough And had to replace my uppers (that was probably normal wear and tear).I do a lot of towing and hauling. I`ll probably try a 2" in the near future. I to did notice the ride ht.

Here`s some pic`s with 2.5"

I don't think it's too horribly bad. We've seen worse around here !!

Mines worse

Mines almost rubbin on the spring with just a 2.5 procomp spacers. I beat it pretty good on rough roads but have over 50,000 km with no problems so far. Ride didnt really change from stock but im putting in rancho quick lift anyways maybe will improve ride I hope.
