Squeaking from left front
I did a search for it, and found a couple of answers...just checking in to see if they're the correct ones for my problem:
Left front is squeaking REALLY bad. Just started about two days ago. It will do it (but not as loud) when I turn, but primarily when the truck bounces up and down. Matter of fact, I can bounce on the step bars, and make it squeak really loud. I've heard it could be the Pitman arm, or a ball joint, from reading on here....obviously, I'm hoping it's the former, since that's cheaper. Any tips? Oops...forgot to add: It's a 2000 F150, with ~130K on it. (Oh, and this place is great. You all helped me out with the last problem I had; my IAC needed replacement. Went to Autozone, spent $50, and solved the problem..thanks!) |

upper control arms, making it squeak!

Why do people kick the tires?? To check the ball joints and tie rods. If the tire moves or you hear some noise something is loose/worn. Side to side usually tierods, up & down in or out.. ball joint. But as mentioned you probably have some squeaking bushings. Spray some silicon on them

Worn lower ball joint
Depending on use and mileage, the lower ball joints will squeak when worn. Mine went a just about 100,000
