2000-2003 Supercab Lifts pics and suggestions?

OK, so I'm planning this summer to lift my 2000 Supercab and put bigger tires, wider wheels and gears. Let's see some pics of lifted older model (1997-2003) trucks. Seems like most of the threads deal with late model stuff with good reason but I'd like to see more on older models.

I'm thinking of somewhere between 4" and 6" and 35" to 37" tires on 16x10 or so.

Come on guys! Lets see some pics and hear some suggestions!:)

check out my sig..it has all the details on my truck and link to my pictures....ur gonna have a tough time puttin 37's on it....you might want to ask Wandell if u can fit 37's. if u get 37's u will most def have to regear...so i would go 6" Fabtech with 35's!!! IM plannin on puttin 3" body lift onto of mine when i get the money..

Ask if u got ne questionsss

Check out my gallery also. I went with a 4" and 33's because still fitting inside my garage was a non-negotiable option. 6" + 35's would not have worked out for me. Plus (I'll admit I haven't shopped around in a long time) there are a lot more shock options for 4" lifts. As far as I know, Pro Comp is the only 6" lift out there for our trucks and I haven't seen anyone that has a shock advertised to fit anything over a 4" lift. That was a consideration at the time for me also. Good luck with finding wheels for the 5 X 135 bolt pattern also. I was shopping for a 20 X 10 and the only wheel I found was luckily enough something I liked by Pro Comp...but they don't make it anymore. I heard from a reputable source that Pro Comp is stopping production of all of its wheels in the 5 X 135 bolt pattern...technoligy for the pre '04's pretty much sucks right now.

fabtech also makes a 6" lift for the 97-03's which blows pro comp's away...i would go with the 35's unless you want to regear and get a 3 inch body lift or a huge suspension lift

I have a 3 inch body lift and 35's.

Oh crap...I did say Pro Comp! I meant Fabtech. Yes, they are the only ones I know of that makes a 6" for our trucks. RCD also makes a 5".

you can go a lot cheaper route if all you want is 35's and get a 3 inch body lift like me and many others have...just get the gap guards and bumper lift and it looks the same basically...my friend has the 6 inch fabtech on his 98' and 35's and his only sits 1 inch higher than mine:thumbsup:

check out my gallery for some pics of my (2wd) 6" RCD lift with 33" tires.

Nice truck Galaxy! So you have no body lift right? I like the the height of yours, not over the top high but not stock. Nice...

Galaxy, how was the install? Did you need the torsion bar unloading tool? Any higher res pics you could send?

Galaxy 12-26-2007 11:09 PM

TN-F150...Correct, no body lift. I'm very happy with the heigth of it. Install was pretty straight foward. IMO, anyone with the mechanical basics can do this job. No specail tools needed. Once you back out all the pre-load on the torsion bars they fall right out. I have heard others mention you need some kind of tool for this, but was not the case on my truck. Don't know if it's because it's a SuperCrew (yes...torsion bars are different [shorter] on the SuperCrew than any other body style) or not, but that's how it worked out for me. No better pics than what's in my gallery...sorry!
