2007 F150 4x4 Lift

I'm looking at adding a lift to my '07 F150 but wasn't sure if the leveling kit would look good with 20's or if I should just go ahead and spring for the 6" lift? Also looking at getting the work done at 4wheelparts, any comments?

Thanks!!

your going to want to buy the 6'' later anyways might as well skip a step. i would go with a RCD 6" or the Fabtech 6", in that order. 4wheelparts doesnt cary RCD products though. and dont let them talk you into a procomp lift, they suck.

I agree about going with a 6 inch lift. The fact that you even mentioned it says you will not be satisfied with a leveling kit. I'd also recommend the Fabtech, RCD or Rize lift. I don't think there is anything wrong with the Pro Comp kit if money is a big issue, but the others are a little better made.

I really know nothing about the different lift kits, what makes a Rize lift or Fabtech better than Pro Comp? Is it the ride? My main purpose of the lift would certainly be looks and not actually off roading; I have Kawasaki Brute Force for that....

Thanks for your help!!!

Like I said, the one's we recommeded are just a little better made.

Fabtech replaces your shocks, where Pro-comp just puts a huge spacer ontop of your stock shock to get you lift. Rize only makes an 8" lift, if you want 6" then you really should be looking at Fabtech and RCD.

I've asked this question a million times and now maybe I can help you out. Search for fabtech v rize there have been thousands of threads where people debate the good and bad points of each. It really comes down to your preference. They are both great lifts.

Okay I appreciate your help... Does the 6" lift void my manufacturer warranty? Does anyone have experience here? Also what should I expect to spend on a Fabtech 6" lift w/ 20" chrome wheels and tires?
