2wd coil spacers on a 4x4 - 01

has anyone tried putting 2wd coil spacers on a 4x4 truck, i want to clear 33x12.50's on a 16x10 rim and hate body lifts and dont want to crank the torsion bars so far that that the ride completly sucks, and i dont have enough for a real lift

you do not have coil springs. a coil spring spacer cannot be used. if you want to fit 33s crank your t-bars up a little and stick with a 16x8 wheel.

33's on 16X10's fit nicely and work great...but you'll need to crank the bars and trim the front lower valance a little. After two trucks, I've never noticed a difference in ride from cranking up the bars, but maybe it's just me. There's some pictures in my galley with no lift, 33's, (305/70 16) and 16X10's.

And as already mentioned, you don't have coil springs. The torsion bars are your "springs", thus, no way to use a spacer and also no other way to lift it up. Your only two options for lift are cranking the bars or a lift kit, period.

You can fit 305/70-16's on 16x10's by just trimming a little plastic off the front bumper's lower valance. I'd crank up the torsion bars enough to level the truck because it will look better.
