Suspension Lift in Houston

I'm just about ready to pull the trigger on getting my suspension work done.
With my work load & lack off garage space I plan to to get a local shop in Houston to do the install. Any locals out there who can give me a good recommendation? So far it's either 4-Wheel Parts (on Gessner). Off-Road Unlimited or All-Out Off-Road. Anyone had positive/negative experiences with either one?

Thanks!!!

For whats its worth I have dealt with Offroad Unlimited on Westiemer numerous times and they have ALWAYS been knowledgable and friendly. They actually wheel vehicles also, 4WP seems to mainly make street queens.
What brand lift are you going with? Call and get prices to see how much they vary

Nothing too major....Fabtech spindle lift for my 2WD. I don't do allot of wheeling, mainly beach bum and camping......looking for more clearance.

Best off, I live 2 miles down the road from Offroad Unlimited. Plan to call them today.

Thanks for the input.

Thats pretty simple work, I once did one in the driveway by myself in 4 hours on a ranger. They shouldnt charge very much and should be able to get it turned around in a day

I'd do it myself for something like that honestly. But I'd suggest Alloutoffroad in Richmond otherwise. Good group of guys and they do great work.

Cutten Customs does good work. but they are a little on the expensive side. depending on how hard it is. i know plenty of ppl that would be willing to install it. a bunch of us on http://www.texastruckscene.com do mod days. a lift kit would be easy to do in a saturday

IMO...do it yourself in the driveway over the weekend...call a buddy up and buy some beer (or cokes if your not old enough to drink)...sounds like a great weekend huh??...there is no better way to learn about your truck than getting your hands dirty...and i can't think of an easier lift to start with either...

Offroad Unlimited

Offroad Unlimited is where I would go. I know the owners and am very good friends with their son. They do great work I had my jeep worked on there when I used to have it and i plan on getting my truck regeared there when I have the money. They also take half of Saturday off and actually go 4-wheeling. They know what they are talking about.

I would also show up to help with the install assuming it took place on a weekend. We could knock this out pretty quickly and get a chance to put some faces to the names on here. My charge is BBQ and beer:smoke:

Ive had a couple of buddies get lift done at the 4wpts off gessner and the guys there are pretty cool and seem to know their stuff. If you talk to them ask for sean

You can go to Texas Trucks Unlimited in Pearland. They do great work and done very well. It was the cheapest I found for work and labor pricing.
I got a bodylift and my price quote was 750 including labor and I called 4 wheel parts and they quoted me at 1300! Can you believe that! for the exact dang thing!

Also you can go to the The Shop Offroad in League City. They were cheaper on there installation but higher price on the kits and wheels etc. They do really good work as well considering they build the most Bad Ass Swamp Crawlers you can buy out there!!!
