Bilstein 5100

Guys I have a 05 supercrew with a rancho 4" lift and a 1.5" leveling on top of it. I currently have the 9000 adjustable shocks on now. Was wondering are the Bilsteins for the 4-6" lift adjustable like the ones for the 1" - 2" leveling shock? I am looking to get rid of the leveling kit on top and just replace everything with a shock or some adjustable coilovers. But not looking to break the bank. Any info would be appreciated.

I'm pretty sure they are since it's what RCD uses for their 4.5 to 6 inch adjustable lift kits, so you should be able to set them for 6 inches of lift. I've been looking into this myself (Rancho & Bilstien 5100's). Top Gun Customz has them for 430 a set http://www.marketworks.com/storefron...82&i=193821846

I have been looking into these shocks too am I am kinda confused. are these shocks fully adjustable while on the truck or are they installed in different positions?? And also is the ride height adjust ability changing the spring rate, which in return changes the ride alot?? I like the idea of replacing the shocks but don't want a really harsh ride with a leveling type set-up. It's harsh enough already.

It'll work just order the Bilstein 5100s from the RCD 4.5" - 6" kit.

No you have to do it with them off of the truck. There is a snap ring on the shock for the spring that creates the lift. Heres a picture of what they look like to give you an idea of how it works ..

so basically it lifts the truck by compressing the spring more.. therefore stiffening ride quality. Right?
