need help with fabtech lift.

I am in the middle of putting my lift on. :rocker: How do i get the CV axle shaft off of the hub and steering knuckle? I have the axle and steering knuckle off of the truck. The hanes manual said to use a gear puller and try to push the axle and steering knuckle apart. That didnt work whatsoever. Anyone that has any experience with this any help would be appreciated. I have a 2000 F-150 4x4. Thanks for the help.

Here are some pics of the CV axle and steering knuckle

I tried to put the arms of the puller on the edge of the hub and have the screw push the axle out of it but that didnt work.

I know on the 04+ you have to take the 3 bolts off the backside of the steering knuckle and it just comes out. I see you still have them in????

on the 2000 you dont have to take them off. They just hold te hub on and the axle slides through it.

Finally got the front cross member on today. It took 3 hours of grinding on the brackets to get it to fit. If i didnt grind down on the bracket where it attaches to the frame it wasnt gonna fit.
