RCD or Fabtech??? (2002 F-150 4x4 Supercab)
I would like to run 35" tires on my 2002 F-150 4x4 SuperCab. I plan on using it for some occasional off-roading, but it will mostly be my daily driver. My lift-kit preferance was RCD or Skyjacker, but it sounds like I'd be better off choosing between RCD and Fabtech (unless someone can persuade me a totally different direction). Any guideance or suggestions would be great!

RCD or Fabtech.
if your absolutely set on those two, RCD no doubt. way higher quality. |
I agree.

I would go with the Fabtech. I have the exact same truck as yours, and just got the fabtech on and love it. Im getting my tires installed today so not really any pictures yet, but hopefully maybe get some up tonight.
Got my fabtech at National Tire and Wheel for $1400 |
I looked at Fabtech first just because I had heard so many good things about it. I ended up going with RCD since I wanted to keep my OEM wheels and the back spacing would not work with the Fabtech. I've had my RCD lift for 2 years\30K miles with no issues. It rides OK for a lifted truck.

RCD or Fabtech, in that order.

RCD. no question.

RCD or Fabtech
fabtech and RCD huh? Well...that's why I ask I guess. So besides backspacing, what is better about RCD that Fabtech doesn't have? Does Fabtech have anything over RCD???

RCD comes with bilsteins.

whats the deal with skyjackers? does anyone on here have one? I saw they come with new leaf springs in the kit, which is good. Whats the drawback?
|
I have no experience, i have always heard they were low quality lifts.

I would go with the RCD ... It uses thicker metal, and comes with Bilstien shocks
