steering stablizer
 
i recived a steerig stablizer with my pro comp shocks... are these hard to put in if not done perfessionally... anyone have them.. any advice.. thanks.. TIM

Pretty easy install once you figure out where the brackets and bolts are supposed to go. I put the Rough Country one on that came with my lift at 1 in the morning sitting under the truck with a flashlight.
Wasn't too bad of an install for my 84' at least.

It's pretty easy to install, if you do like I did. I didn't want to remove my lower control arm bolt and install the mount, so I just purchased a bolt and mounted it to the existing hole in the frame next to the lower control arm. Here's a pic.

a few more ? about suspension
 
wandell i was thinking about getting an add a leaf kit but not sure what it would do for my truck.. i am not lifted and plan to stay that way or just get a 3'' body liift in the future.. and i have pro comp shocks.. what ill it do for me and is it worth it... yes it kind seems like i wanna spend money and was looking into that.. do u have pro comp shocks.. my reason for asking is i have them and my ford mechanics told me they couldnt use the bushings that came with them and i forget why so im running on the facotry bushings.. anything i can do.. or would u kno why they didnt work.. i really appreiate ur help.. ur one well respected member here.. if anyone has any advice please let me kno.. i could use the info.. thanks.. Tim

It doesn't sound like you need an aal. It will raise your rear end slightly and make your rear suspension slightly stiffer. I have Pro Comp ES3000 shocks. I used the Pro Comp bushings and I don't see why your mechanic would not be able to use them.
