Body lift Installed 6 + 3 on 35's

I know some of you think 9" on 35's looks funny and the only way to go it on 37"s with a 9" lift but the differnce beetween most 35's and 37's is only 0.7"-1.2" when on the truck so I thought the extra money for the tires wasnt worth it and better spent else where, IMO so anyhow take a gander at these.

Kieth,

I dont think you'd ever see the diffence beween the tires, (35->37's) IMO Although many people told me it would look rediculous with 35's on it wicth didnt make sense to me because thier not all that much larger

And by keeping the 35's you will not be loosing as much gear as you would with 35's and the tire's cost less as well. and 35's are lighter and easier on the wheel bearings and fuel milige ... HEY,,every bit help's

OH BTW...DO IT.....DO IT......

Cool:thumbsup: Very nice looking truck!!!!
I have also been wondering how that would look!!IMO it doesn't look like the tires are too small!!
Can you get a pic of the front wheel well so we can see the clearance???
How much was that Donahoe 6inch lift??

SKRWZ 09-26-2007 07:24 AM

The Donahe Kit was a arond 2300 I think I bought it last year and kept it in the box till I was going to install it I paid extra for the rear springs but it's all worth the ride quality it's really smooth, if you can get hold of one of these kits grab it, but that might be hard thier is few out there now only 100 or so were made, Or if that's not availible pick up and RCD kit that was my second choice, and you want a front pic of the wheel or a side pic?

That truck looks awesome. For sure.

Thanks buddy, i know what you mean by 35s being not much smaller than 37s. My buddy has 37" boggers on his 79 f150, and when we line up his 37s dont look more than an inch taller. His are much wider, but not much taller.

with the 36X15.5X20 mickey thompson baja claws on would I need regearing? Not many people have 36's, i know bud does but I cant send him a PM because I dont have 100 posts :( I was thinking if regearing wouldnt be necessary, that i could go with 6" fabtech and a 2" lvling kit.
