If I got a 2WD and I am just going to put on a 3inch body lift do I need a spindle lift too, or can I do without it?

you dont need any suspension parts for a body lift. body lift is strictly lifting the body. nothing else

If I want it to look like the height of a 4X4, would it require them?

No, the 4x4's are only 3 inches taller than the 4x2's. I'd install the body lift and spindles and be taller than a 4x4!

well I didnt want it to be too high cuz im just gonna leave my stock tires on them.

3" lift with stock tires will look pretty silly. I have a 3.5 inch Spindle lift, and definately recomend it I am very happy with the result, and it has taken some serious punishment, I need too post those pictures, and videos :)

Yes it is 2x4...honestly IMO don't think about lifting it in anyway unless you are going too up the tires, or you may look like those bandito's that drive around with 10 inch stick out rims on 16 inch tires :bandito: :lol: well thats at least my opinion...Yes I very much recomend the spindle lift, but at least look into a slightly larger tire...I got a much bigger tire, and kept it on the stock rim :) very happy with the result

Its all personal preferance. I wanted more travel, and ground clearance, w/out bringing my body up for more body roll. I personally am more a fan of suspension lifts as long as they are done properly, and the proper angles on drive-train etc. are maintained. If you want more travel and off-road capability then go with the spindle lift, if you want the looks and bigger tires go w/ the body lift...Not saying that body lifts don't improve your off-road capabilities, but I would rather bring the frame up w/ everything else so its not as close too the ground.

well i am mainly going for looks but i will still do my share of muddin with it too, so i might just stick with the body lift, or would it be possible to do both so i can have more lift? cuz i found out today i am going to eventually purchase some 33 inch tires.

If your looking to fit 33's (285/75/16 for example) it is possible to fit them without a lift. A few people on here have run them with very minor trimming to the front bumper. I was going to run them with a 2" lift coil and add a leaf in the rear just to get some more height for fitment. Are you going to be installing the lift yourself? Anyways I'm going with a bigger lift to fit 35's so if you wanted to pick up the lift coils or both for real cheap just let me know.:thumbsup: finalday7@hotmail.com
