8" RIZE 3" BODY 40's on 22's???
 

I am new here so here goes
My last truck was an 05 supercrew with 6" procomp 2.5 leveling kit and aal
with 37x13.50x20 toyo mt
was not pleased at all my cv angle sucked upper control arm angle sucked
So now that I have bought an 07 supercrew I want to do it a little better

I was told today by the local shop that has done a lot of the rize lifts in town
that i should upgrade to the 5150 blistein in the rear and also aal and leave the front as it comes with the basic kit????

does the kit use a spacer like procomp?
tring to go that big wouldnt i want to upgrade to a better coil over and will i have to have driveshafts made
this maybe to big


I dont know a lot about the rize kit so if anybody has learned any thing the hard way please pass it along

pros and cons on this set up and Any and all input from you guys would be a huge help

It comes with an extension that actually goes on the bottom, so its still a 8" spacer but it goes on the bottom instead of the top. King sells coilovers that would work perfect and you'd get rid of the spacer but they're $1600.

I think I paid $3500 +/- for the kit with 5150s in the rear, Deaver add-a-leaf, and alignment.

Have you ever had any problems with the rize kit itself
and do you have steering stablizers

No, no problems at all.

No, you don't need steering stabilizers. The Rize kits are different from anything else out on the market. They have an insane steering set-up that is on roller bearings, have your shop explain it to you more in depth. It's nice, it feels just like stock steering it. :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

which shop are you referring to about having a lot of experience with rize lifts?

Rize is not the only way to go CST is a very well put together kit, comes withes aftermarket UCA's that will help with durability for running 15.5's :thumbsup:

I know and i think there is a couple more like full throtle
I just have never seen the cst in person and there is like only one person
on the forum with one

well some food for thought if you want to run 40x15.5 you need all the help you can get, UCA's are one thing that is a really good idea... if you want the rize that bad get it just buy some total chaos UCA's cause you will be flying thro ball joints in a hurry.... i too think rize has a better looking subframe and is very well built i just wanted to run a 15.5 tire and off road if you you want that you might want to get some UCA's..... o and they are around $600 i believe.

Yeah I am, soon hopefully just been real busy lately don't have time to go drop her off, but don't worry you won't be the only one with the CST setup for long :thumbsup:

If his he's going to be running 40s, it's probally going to be a street driver so the UCAs wouldn't do much of anything on the street. However the Rize steering system would be a lot better than nothing trying to turn 40s. I think the Rize is the better choice because its hard to add the steering set-up to any other lift but its not so hard to just add a pair of UCAs.

:confused: Rize and CST have the same steering setup. Everywhere i've been looking and asking for lifts, it's seems CST is the Cadillac of Suspension Lifts between 6-8", Not saying Rize isn't good cause that would be my choice in a heartbeat if it wasn't for CST but it just seems like a more well put together kit. I'm merely relaying to you what i've been told. I've ridden in and drove a friends truck that has the Rize 8. So whenever I get my CST put on ill give you an unbiased answer :coffee:
