Where to buy King's?

Anyone know where you can buy Front King Coilovers for a 05 F150 2WD. they have to be the ones for 6" lift. Only kings i have found are a replacement coilover and shock to replace the stock unit. Any help is appreciated. :smoke:

thanks man, do you see the kings having any advantages over the fabtech DL's? what shocks are you running in the rear? are those the fabtechs? :smoke:

I've got Bilstein 5150s in the rear.

The Kings are going to be a much better shock than the Dirt Logics but you'll pay for it. I think I'm going to try out the Bilstein 7100s in the rear when I get a chance to lift the rear some more.

good deal. what do you think i would need in the rear to level it out with the front after i added the Kings and cranked them up about 2"s? i got that crap setup from pro comp right now, the 2 stacked blocks...i want to get rid of them all together and maybe just do a 5" block. :smoke:

i have those terrible stacked blocks from the pro-comp lift. its the factory block plus it looks like a 2" block underneath it. and it doesnt sit level, its close to it, but no cigar. you think a 5" block would put me level with a coilover cranked? or would i need more? :smoke:

So you have the 4WD 2" block in the rear as well as what comes with the ProComp kit? I have no idea, I'm too used to 4WD set-ups. I know the ProComp kit with the 4WD kit comes with a 2.5" block to be used with the stock 2" block.

you do not have a stock block in there if you did you would have a bump stop coming of it....

why dont you just measure how big you block set up is?? and then measure the front from the top of your tire to the bottom of the wheel wel and do the same in the back..... then subtrack the little number from the big number and you will know how much bigger of a block you need my guess would be you need a 6" block. like the one that comes with the Rize lift if you plan on cranking those coilovers up another 2"s.

Truck looks good Noog. What happened to the bump stop block? I'm no expert but that block setup looks a little whack with the shims or whatever and no bump stop. Is that normal for a 4x2? IMO take all that off get a bigger block and an add-a-leaf. I sit about 1/2-inch higher out back with add-a-leaf albiet 4x4 but I bet you'd need the 6-inch block as Bud said or 5 + leaf.

FYI King sayeth the fronts are $1,350 plus $200 b/c they'd be custom for the lift and rears were $750. I already made that call and then cried.....

ThumperMX113 08-27-2007 08:50 PM

I have no idea probally a shim. All you need to do is figure out how much lift you have in the rear and add two for 2" more inches up front if you're sitting level right now.
