Pic Request...4x2 w/ Fabtech 6" with 5" block

Please gentleman, i cant decide between a rize 8" and a fabtech 6" with the 5" block.....i was wanting to check out some pictures...an add a leaf will do too...thanks guys..as mentioned it is a 4x2

I don't think Rize makes a lift for 4x2's.

CST makes a 7" lift for the 4x2!
i got it installed a month ago and i luv it. ill try and post pics soon.

I have the RCD kit on my '02 4x2. I have some pics in my gallery of a 6" block, traction bars, etc.

Didn't see your request earlier, but here's my 2006 2WD with a 6" Fabtech lift and 5" rear block.

Mine is not a 4x2, but I think it is similiar in height. There are more pics in my gallery. It has a 5" block in the rear.

Street...i love those wheels..great choice. Is the reason you are saying this because the 2007 sits lower to the ground then previous years? I heard this...wondered if there is any truth to it.thanks

street3285 08-22-2007 12:12 PM

Thanks. I say this because when you lift the truck 6", both the 4x2 and the 4x4 clear 35" tires. So they would have to be similiar to do so. I could be wrong, but that was my reasoning behind it.

white05stx 08-22-2007 12:16 PM

the 4x4 sits about two inches higher with or without the lift kit than a 2x4. i have the 6 inch fabtech kit with a 4 inch block in the back on my 2005 2x4 and my friends 4x4 wit da same kit kits a lil bit higher.

stud_135 08-22-2007 05:10 PM

I knew the 2" difference in stock height was accurate because the 2x4 does not have a block...and i believe there is also a difference in the front suspension as well...but street has good logic..if it was really that big of a difference then a 4x4 would be able to clear 36s or 37s with a 6" alone....good thoughts guys thanks

6" suspension lift and 3 " body lift on mine

and it fits the 35x12.50x17 tires or even the 315x70x17 Goodyear Eatreme AT tires I just put on last weekend. I have had the 2 lifts on mine for over 4 years and it is a head turner. Thats why the license plate is what it is.... " BAD2WD"

they can. if you use a thinner rim, you can fit 37s under a 6" lift with a 4x4. Josiah did it.
