Which Choice?
I have a 2000 F-150 and I am interested in putting a leveling kit on it. I also want to strengthen the rear suspension when I install the leveling kit. I am contemplating putting a helper spring or an add-a-leaf kit in the rear. The only thing I am worried about is the add-a-leaf raising the rear too much and my truck once again leaning forward. Has anyone done this with their truck? The add-a-leaf says it adds 2" of lift to the rear. Also I am going to change my shocks and I am leaning toward Pro Comp ES3000 Series shocks. I haul fairly heavy loads from time so I need some resistance but I don't want my truck to have too stiff of a ride. Anyone have any suggestions?

You don't need a leveling kit because you can level your truck by adjusting the preload on the torsion bars. You will need an alignment afterwards. I would suggest cranking them up enough to level the truck. The best option for the rear would be a supplemental air bag system. I have the ES3000's on my Screw and am happy with them.
