ok muddyape...... that would be great if you could get a overall measurement.. does your truck fit in your garage?

Tripyn69 Dec 28, 2006 04:43 PM

Dadwillis, I have the same lift MuddyApe does on 35's and yes it barely fits in my garage. I am talking 2" inches of clearance at most but I get it in there. If I get home while it is still daylight I will measure it for you. ( See new post below)

My garage door sits at 80" (I have to raise the door a little to get it in) but the truck sits at about 82'" inches tall. Most garage openings are about 7ft or 84" inches. So if yours is standard it should fit with a few inches to spare.

tripyn69... thanks for the info would you suggest to go with 35's? i havnt really seen any pic of the rancho with 33's so i wasnt sure.. thanks again man:beers:

dadwillis, a thousand apologies...I didnt forget about you been working my stones off to pay for the tires I just bought. I agree with tripyn's measurement (approx 82") that about what I got. I'm building my garage in the spring so I will account for the height then. I would absolutely go with 35's with the 4" lift (zero rubbing) and makes the truck look the way it should. Pics as soon as possible.

Hey Muddyape, yeh man lets see some pics with the new shoes! I did not think it looked that bad with the oems-but I agree the 35's with the lift make the truck look complete.

Is your truck a 4x4 or a 2x4 because the 4x4 sits about 2" taller than the 2x4.
I'm not posotive, but you might have a tiny bit of rubbing with the 35s and only 4" of lift with a 2x4

dadwillis Dec 30, 2006 04:44 PM

its a 4x4

You should be fine with the 35"s but i don't know as far as fitting in a garage..
