Is it my eyes or what? Those tires are WAY too narrow for that truck. The truck would look awesome with some tires like TROOKS has(15.5" wide). It just looks disproportional to the the tall lift... but PLEASE, do not take me wrong, I would love to have something that nice. Mine is just plain stock except for a leveling kit and 33" tires on 18" wheels.

I'm wondering if it has something to do with the wheel flares? TROOKS truck does not have the additional flare to the fender, b/c otherwise it sounds like the same setup?.....
Trucks look awesome BTW guys!

I don't take anything personal......but for one...I did not want tires sticking out past flares because I have a paint job that is just to costly to mess up.... Also I can see what you guys are saying from the pics, but it really doesn't have the same appearance in person....

This first pic is from about a month ago Pre fender flares, different paint, and only my 6in coil overs....no body lift...you can see the tires stick out past the fenders...

And now they sit flush with the fender flares, present day pic.....

no matter though....they will be replaced very soon once I figure out what other set up I'm doing to keep upward movement... anyone looking for iroks with a couple k on em?

oh yeah,,,,,the tires are in fact 13.5inches wide....I think another reason they may look narrower is because of the tread pattern......a smaller block design spaced closer together looks wider...

Hey HotStang66, I think your ride looks awesome. I followed your post through your "Paint Job" nightmare. I know what you are saying about the extended tires damaging your paint with rocks and debris but the height of a 9-10" lifted truck really needs some major meats to give it that "Tuff Truck" look. Overall the truck is coming along nicely. What is the approximate cost of the tires and wheels? Are they going to be placed on our Classified section? Let me know what you are asking for them? BoB

Yes they will. Im sure it will look really good.. dont worry..

im not sure what the Backspacing is on the 20" 951's but being a 10" wide rim with 12.5" tires and the fabtech lift they will stick out.. It really depends ont he backspacing of your rim but i would guess they will stick out somewhere around 1.5-2.5"

if you were looking for something that would stick out on the sides...the 951's were a good choice due to their backspacing
