Most 2/4 lowering kits contain lowering springs for the front and drop shackles and hangers for the rear. You should be able to run 24's with the right wheel and tire combo.

Be warned though... the hangers are Rivited on! you will need some power tools to remove those... everything else is nuts and bolts... also lowering your truck will mess with the camber on the front wheels unless something comes in the kit to re-align them.... it will still be drivable but you will wear the inside of your tires out pretty quickly... as i found out

my kit was a 3/5 inch drop.. the max without cutting a c notch in the frame.. came with front springs, rear shackles and hangers, shim to align the pinon up, U Bolts, Spring Bolt, Bump stops, and i think thats it.... i went ahead and got new shocks too to match the kit

Mines lowered 2/3 with an adjustable eibach hanger, and 2" eibach coils up front. I also put new shocks on, out of a lightning, and I plan on getting 22" harley replica rims (the 99-03 HD rims)

I too had problems getting aligned even with camber bolts and shims. See this thread about my problems with my "alignment shop"

Not to scare you away, b.c it does look really good lowered, and mine rides pretty close to stock. But ive run through 720wear grade tires, in about 15k. Should have lasted over 70k.
