3" PA body lift w/ 35s
I am looking into getting a 3" body lift and some 35's. Will 35's fit on my 02 F-150 4x4? What is a 2" spacer? Is it possible to put a 2" spacer and a body lift and get 5" of lift?

You can crank the torsion bars and add a body lift and that will look great.
|
Right, and that will allow you to fit 35's.
The spacers are used on 97-03 F-150 4x2's and 04-07 F-150's. You have torsion bars, not coil springs like those trucks. |
so, if i crank torsion bars and 3" pa body lift I can fit 35's no problem. right?
Will there be any rubbing? |
35's are a tight fit with a 3 inch body lift. If you use a 10 inch wide wheel with 4.5 inches of backspacing you will have to trim a little plastic of the front bumper's lower valance and crank up the torsion bars. If you use a 8 inch wide wheel, you probably won't have to trim any. Personally, I'd go with a 10 inch wide wheel.

dont crank torsion bars thats half ass stupid stuff
|
Is there anything I can add to the 3" Body lift to fit 35's without rubbing
|
No, not really. As for the torsion bar remark, you can go to far with anything. Just enough to level the truck. Cranking them up untill you have no down travel would be stupid, sort of like writing a sentence without capitalization or punctuation.

.!@#$%^&*()-_/?<>,.;':"[]{}\|=+ happy? ya ****tard |
You're right. I'm sorry. Just because someone makes a rude comment isn't an excuse to do the same.

I agree with Wandell, if you wanna clear the 35's your gonna have to crank the torsions to level it and the 3" body. But like he said there is still gonna be some trimming required.

Look and see
https://www.f150online.com/galleries...5145-78787.jpgLook at my owner gallery. I have 315-75-16s on 16x10" rims (4.50" backspace). Three inch body lift and two turns of the torsionbars. Only had to trim the front valance an inch or so. Good luck.
