Articulation

I have a 01 screw 4x4. Have a 3in body lift already with 1" block in rear and 1" torsion bar spacer. I plan on fabtech 6in suspension lift someday(no money right now). What will give me plenty of articulation? It doesnt seem like i have very much right now.

A redesigned suspension with longer control arms in the front mounted on the opposite frame rail. Removing the rear leafs, going to a long arm 4-link or ladder bars with coils. This is how most large articulation suspensions are built.

The geometry just wont allow it with the front stock set-up.

I have seen some big movers in back that went to a single soft rear leaf with a huge arc. These set-ups don't do well with big horse power or torque though. The leaf just wraps up.

without having to change out your whole rear end to a 4 link or whatever, try this place. Dixonbrosracing.com it puts long travel leafs in the back, and gets rid of the torsion bars in the front in exchange for coilover shocks, i believe it gives u 14 inches of travel on a 4wd...also changes out the lower control arms and other stuff for much bulkier parts. Not sure if thats what your looking for, but i have a fabtech 6" lift on my truck and think when money allows it i am going to swap it out for that one. i dont really see any more "articulation" other then a larger gap for my tires, the bump stops are lowerd in the fabtech lift so i dont know if your actually gaining any travel, if so,, its not much, you could take em out, buy i dont wanna tear up my fenders. Just my .02$
