2002 Expedition does it have same suspension as an F150

Hello,

Just bought this 02 XLT 4x4 Expedition, I know it's an IFS,

Anyone know more details on it? I beleive it has 3.55 gears after crawling around under it ( saw tag on front driveshaft ) and the rear axle looks way bigger than the 8.8 that was on my 95 Bronco.

Can it be lifted? Who makes the kits? What do they cost?

Any photos of lifted ones?

Thanks :D

The 97-02 4x4 Expy has the same front suspension (torsion bars) as the 97-03 F-150 4x4's. The rear uses coil springs instead of leaf springs however. I would recommend the 6 inch Fabtech lift.

Would it be one for an F150 though?

Haven't seen them advertised for an Expy

No, they make a seperate kit for the Expy's because of the difference in the rear suspension.

Do you know what kind of axle is in the rear? Dana?

Just found a few lift kits for your truck on truckperformance.com . Fabtech has one for $2147 and its a 6 inch. There are a few more on there also in both 5 and 4 inch lifts....i dont know if you have air ride suspension but i know that some of the kits will not work with air ride. check it out and see what fits your truck.
