leveling kit

I want to level my 2000 F150 2wd reg cab 2wd. Exactly how many inches would that have to be? Also where can I find a cheap leveling kit?

Also If I do this does anyone know the biggest size tire I could buy?

thanks,
ryan

Approximately 2 inches will level it. You can get Daystar coil spring spacers from 4Wheel Parts. THat will be your cheapest lift. You will be able to run 33's with a leveling kit.

Yeah, the 1.5 inch spacer should work. Basically, you remove the front coil springs and place the spacer on top of them.

are the leveling kits year specific? or does it apply to the general rule of thumb that it'll work on years 97-03?

EDIT: Question is answered...97-02 are the same
