vibration

I have a 2005 150 fx4 with 18" tires. I can feel front end vibrate through the steering wheel, and feel every bump - even the ones you can't see. i had it back to the dealer three times. last time, they verified the vibration during their road test. the rebalanced all the wheels/tires and found right rear rim bent, and they replaced it. vibration is still there. I know the off road package has stiffer suspension, but i can't believe it is supposed to be like this. it is extremely annoying - yet sometimes it seems not to do it - or not so much anyway. runs great at 70 on the interstate. i went back to the dealer and drove another exact model truck. ran the same as mine. the service rep said they contacted ford and they claim they have gotten quite a few complaints and are looking into it. has anyone else experiences this? any suggestions besides grin and bear it? thanks. jostang

Yes....slight vibration in the steering wheel. You feel every bump because we now have rack and pinion steering instead of a recirculating ball type. R&P makes for a more sensitive, increased feedback ride. It shouldn't be harsh though.
