Is this possible? I dont think you can lift the body of 02 f150 without needing this part. Woudnt it make a 3 inch gap??

 

No, the steering extension is absolutely necessary. Why do you ask?

I sold him the body lift in question and when I had the body lift pulled off my truck and mailed it to him, there was not a steering extension. I called the place that did the body lift and they said they custom fab a peice for the steering extension. I then called the place that took the lift off and they said that the peice had to be broken to remove it. So, John if you read this, that is why it was not in the box. They broke the custom fab peice when they took it off.
