help on a 2wd
2002 f-150 2wd i have had peoples suggestions, but i have few more questions.
-First Im goin to put the performance body lift 3 inch. Anyone know an estimate on how much it cost to get one installed?
-Can I put the Daystar leveling kit on the front and put an add a leaf on the rear? I haul alot and I don't like the rear to sag. Price on those installs?
-Idea of what size tires to put on the stock rims? I need new tires and was thinkin the 285/75/16. Should i got bigger if i can put everything on there making it sit higher? I was thinking A/T tire too.
-Anyone know an estimate how high it would sit? I hear the body kit would let it sit stock 4x4 but how much more would the leveling kit and add a leaf effect the height?
-Do I need to expect any suspension failure later on with the leveling kit and add a leaf?
ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE. I would prefer not to get a suspension lift but I would like some bigger tires and the truck defiantely to sit higher off the ground and not have as much stress during work and hauling the boat.

When I priced a performance accessories body lift at my local 4 wheel parts store, it was 160 for the lift and 350 for the install. The body lift plus the leveling kit and add-a-leaf will probably give you about a 5" lift total. Don't know how much it is to install leveling kit and leafs. The leafs will probably help with the sag, but I wouldn't put too much weight on the body lift for fear of busting a lift block. Just be discrete when you put a load in your bed. You would be fine going with the 285, but with that much lift, you could put a 305 or possibly squeeze a 315 under your fenderwells. That would probably kill your power, though.
I would go with a 33 inch tire. Either a 285/75-16 or 305/70-16. What you are talking about would put you at about the height of a stock 4x4 with it's torsion bars cranked up all the way. I really don't think the body lift is gonna affect your load carrying ability. The only warning I remember in any of the kits I've installed is to not tow with the bumper anymore. You need to use the receiver hitch for towing.
