First time alignment

I'm going to get my first alignment on my 98 xcab 4x4 after I put my new shocks on. I have 114K miles on it. I thought I read a long time ago that there is possibly a chamber bolt kit or some sort of kit I will need to do a complete alignment on my truck. Someone at Goodyear said I dont need it. I did a search but couldnt find what I was looking for.

You probably won't need it. Most people don't. Most of the people that I have read about that needed the camber kit had lifted 4x2's. They had to purchase the kit to get their trucks to align within specs. I've read that they are available at NAPA and other auto parts stores for around $40 or so.
