Which shock?
Ok someone correct me if i'm wrong:
I was interested in the Bilstein 5100 for my truck(see sig) but the ones for my truck are only for 4"lift front and 2"lift rear and are yellow not chrome (note 4 on http://www.bilstein.com/html/applica...5100/index.htm only ones that are not chrome shiishh)
the other option is the edelbrock ias extreme which are chrome and come in 4.5" lift rear and front.
is it just me are does this still leave me atleast 1.5" short. are there any better options? i would perfer to have the chrome look finish!

The Edelbrocks will not work on your truck with the 6" lift. I called Edelbrock on the issue that they advertise for a 4.5" lift when no one makes that and they basically said it's for a 4-5" lift. With yours you would still be an inch short which would mean the shock would fully extend before the suspension reached full travel, resulting in shock or shock mount damage. Don't know about the Bilsteins but I have heard they do custom length shocks. Good luck. BTW, the Edelbrocks are awesome and they were actually the deciding factor on my Rancho 4" choice.
