front ends

does anyone know if the ttb front end of a 4x4 will bolt up to a ttb fron end of a 4x2 from a 92-96 body style a friend of mine wants to swap his truck into a 4x4 any info would greatly help

i am pretty damn sure that will not "bolt" up. That would require some intense modifying

As I recall the crossmembers are different as are the drop brackets for the axle pivots.

Thanks for the info, my friend is now thinking about selling his truck and just buying a 4x4.

It is way to expensive to go fromt 4X2 to $4X4. New front end entirely and need somne serious fabricationg to get everything to "bolt up". Just sell the 4X2 and get a 4X4.
