rs9000's on 4x2?
will the rs9000 fit on a 4x2, or do they come in different "lengths"? Thanks.

You can call Rancho they'll tell you the part number for your specific truck. They do come in different lenghts. I just purchased some for my 99 4x4ORP.

A factory original suspension 4X2 F-150 takes one part # RS-9000. It's common and available.

Mine had two different part numbers one for the front and one for the back. They are different lengths. I have the part numbers at home. They are like RS-9....

Bishop2- Yes, of course there is a different part number for the fronts and the rears; they're nothing alike. I should have been more clear in my answer to Aggie98. His question was not "Do the same shocks fit all 4 wheels", it was "Do they come in different lengths on a 4X2", which I correctly replied that unlifted (factory original suspension) takes one size. The part #s are 9235/front & 9236/rear.

bishop2- Yes, I have them, they're great. I tinkered around with the settings and they really made a difference. I love to crank the rears up for towing/hauling. The shocks and anti-sway bars made a huge difference. It's 2WD and the front bar was awesome.

When you're not towing/hauling what settings have you found to work the best?

I'm running 3 front, 2 rears, with a heavy rear payload spring. Others have posted softer settings, but few seem to be able to stand firmer ones. I like the Dynomax setup very much; I would buy it over again 10 times. The Ultra-flow is for those who like very throaty. It's a straight through design and outflows any muffler that I've found. High flow is not good for all applications, but I have future supercharger plans, and I haven't suffered any loss of low end torque in the meantime.
