stupid question about RS9000's

Ok, when you adjust them, how do you tell what number they are on, i mean on the dial, is the number that faces the end that the dial is on, or do you read it on the other side of the dial that faces the length side of the shock? Get it? I think its the number facing the length of the shock. Any help?

i have no clue, but why don't you just try putting 5 on the top and see if the ride is smooth or jarring.

Clockwise is firmer; mine have a raised area on the knob at the setting number and an arrow stamped on the shock at the bottom, or 6 O'clock position, that the knob corresponds to.
