Post Leaf Spring separation

Has anyone ever noticed how the second leaf spring from the top main spring doesn't line up with the rest of the leafs? Mine is sticking out about 1/2 inch to the outside of the truck. I do have clips but they are not holding the leafs all together. It's funny because all of the other leafs are in line with the main one, just that one doesn't line up. I tried to pound it back over but we all know that that wouldn't work. Is this something to worry about, or am I just too dam picky. I've looked at other trucks and most of them are lined up but others are just like mine. I've got a 98 f-150 with 53,000 miles on it.
