Post Fabtech 2" Leveling Kit

I was just wondering if anyone had this? I heard it destroys ride quality, but was wondering if you could change the shocks for Rancho RSX or 9000's and make the ride easier. Also, is the added lift worth the harsh ride. How bad is it really? Any other alternatives?? I wish someone would make a spindle leveler kit. That would make things much easier. Anyways, anyone with this kit want to comment??

I think you would be better off just putting the spindles on. It's a liitle more in cost, but you get 3.5" and no change in ride. Plus, on top of your body lift..you'd be looking bad *** coming down the street! But you would probably need new tires. I just ordered this setup.. Threw a body lift on top of my spindles that I had put in last month. I'll get pics soon.

I can tell you from experience...do not get the leveling kit. You get what you pay for, therefore go with the spindles and rear blocks. I had added the 2inch springs and my rided sucked, and i could never align my truck. To top that off, about a month ago my ball joints on my upper a arms went out because of the angle and stress caused by the springs. Trust me, spend the money, get a good ride, and look good while driving with a bigger truck.

Hey Mav07,

Is that custom Thrush Tube exhaust, a glasspack? If so, I have never heard one on a v6. Do you have a .wav file or something I could here? Does it sound good. Thanks man

I just wanted to level out my truck, but keep it so that could enter a 7' parking garage.I'm not sure how much more room I have before I'm too tall to fit.

split - Its a dual-tube setup. On tube is a straight through design with no muffler "stuff" in it. The other side is a muffler tube with hardly any resistance. Its glasspacked on both, but not so much that it sounds bad. I don't haveany sound files, but gimme a week and I'll do it during spring break. If you go to www.f150world.com/supertruck97/ you can see some pics of the setup.
