1" drop?

1" drop?
Hey Guys,
I bought a set of drop shackles for the rear of my truck today. They are advertised as a 2" drop shackle. But, they are only two inches longer than the stock shackles, so it looks like they'll only lower the truck 1", if my math is right. Since only one end of the leaf spring is raised 2", and since the axle is at the center of that spring, it seems to me that the shackles would only give me a 1" drop. Does that make sense? If I only get 1" lower in back, that's fine, should work well with my ~1" shorter Lightning coils up front. A 1/1 drop? Maybe a waste of time?
