Nice pics! What kind of tonneau cover is that? Also, you're left rear curb feeler needs adjusting. It's pointed straight up.;)

Thanks, it's made by a co called Dynaglass, http://www.dynaglass.com/top.html
I'm one of those people that has to be different:D , could've gotten a paint to match but I like the soft tonneau look with the security of a hard top. It doesn't cover the rails like a snuglid or a r e but me likes!!:D Curb feeler is positioned correctly for Missouri.. 10-4 LOL:cool:

Familyman,

I didn't realize that you were a city driver for Fedex Freight/American Freightways!!! I do the same job up here in Cleveland, Ohio...the bad teamster supporting terminal!!!!

What a small world, I see your posts all the time, and all along we were employed by the same company!!

It is a small world after all! Yes I'm a lowly city driver:p in the gateway (STL) Hey, check out the ltl message boards http://www.truckingboards.com/trucki...d/index.php?s=
sometimes there's some good info there.

Maybe we should all threaten with the union so we can get better pay like Chicago...

Familyman,

No kidding! They tell us that it is do to cost of living! What a load of crap! My sister lives in South Carolina, in a house that cost her $210,000. If you moved that house up here to the Cleveland area, that home would cost around $350,000! The point is, in South Carolina, they make the same amount of money we do in Cleveland! Shouldn't they get paid less, since the cost of living is less down there?

I do watch those boards, and am a contributing member, I go by the name Skippy there.

By the way, nice truck! I love the color combination! If I did not have my green and gold truck, that would definately be the combination I would be looking for!

hehehe, ever been to SC?

RebelYell Nov 17, 2002 10:08 AM

The cost of living thing all depends on what part of SC you are in. Where I live (the upstate) the cost of living is significantly higher than in some other parts of the state. In the past 10-15 years. the population has exploded (due to big industry....which is thanks to the state gov. giving RIDICULOUS tax incentives to manufacturers if they will just locate their newest facilities here and bestow their gracious salaries upon us poor backwoods hillbilly rednecks  )

And...and....ummm...errrrr.....waitaminit....I am one of those hillbilly rednecks....and I do work for one of those manufacturers! Hmm. Never mind :D

Hey Familyman, I really like your tonneau cover. Couple of questions...How heavy is it? Does it come off easy if you need to take it off? What'd run ya?

familyman Nov 17, 2002 05:06 PM

Thanks, I like it too!! My guess on the wgt is 60-70 lbs, not so heavy as it is awkward, removal is a snap, just pop the struts loose (they have clips) and lift straight up. The front is held in place by a flat hook and eye kinda hinge, hard to explain as I can't find the right word, will take a pic and post. As for the cost 499, here's a link http://www.dynaglass.com/main.html

and here's the hinge assembly
