Hello

I'm a new guy. I just picked up a 02 SCrew. I love this truck!!
This site rocks!
I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can see some pre-runner style front bumpers for it. I think that will liven it up until funding allows for the full effect.
TIA

Talking Howdy

From one SCrew newbie to another, welcome! I loved my '97 F150 and didn't think SCrew ownership would be much different, but I am now a believer...these trucks are outstanding! I think you'll really enjoy your new home here...

By prerunner looks I belive you mean the flared front fenders like on the baha runners. Basically for more tire clearance for the long travel shocks. I have seen them on lots of rangers but rarely on F150s. I would think that that part of the truck is the same on all 2001-2002 F150s.

Well, I did find some stuff on it so far, but I'm hoping for experience. And from what I've seen here, there is plenty!

Congrats! But what the heck is a pre-runner front end? Almost thought you were talking about making it look like (GULP!) a Toyota 4Runner! Get a rope!

Prerunner Help

If I were you, I would contact FABTECH, they make a sweet prerunner bar. Otherwise, go to your local welding shop and they can custom design you for your exact needs for less money, jst prime it well and paint it to prevent the welds from rusting. Also, RCD makes a prerunner light bar loop and other companies are starting to produce them - KEEP LOOKING - Congratulations on the SCrew, just made the jump from the Expedition forum today!!!

I have no idea how good thier stuff is, but I have seen these in the Truck section of Summit.
These are the Pro Comp brand pre runner bars.

Again I have never used one of these, or even anything made by Pro Comp, so I cannot comment on the quality of the product.

Good luck, and welcome to the site. When the mod bug bites, it bites hard...save your lunch money for mods
