Might be getting rid of the SCrew

I'm been thinking F250's!! I need more towing power and better gas mileage.

If I buy it will be on the x plan and also get a $2k rebate on the PSD. Pretty good deal but I would like to sell the SCrew instead of trading it in. Been offer $24k from one dealer and that's about in line with KBB.com. Dont know if I can let it go at that price. I see that there is also a $2k rebate on the SCrews now, so that doesnt help me in selling it.

I'm going to check with some other dealers and see what they will give me.

That PSD is awesome and the 6 speed very awesome to drive!!

What exactly is the X plan? I hear ya on the SD. I've been looking at them as well. I'd like to trade our RV in for a 5th wheel toybox, but couldn't do it with the SCrew.

X Plan..it's great!

It's a program we have at work. All we buy is Ford. It's about 88% of the MSRP. It's nice to have because there is no haggling, just walk in and tell them I want the x plan price and I get it.

I bought my SCrew this way and it's real simple.

Carolina Screw,

Where do you get $2000 rebate of the SD and Screw? In PA the rebates are $1500 for both vehicles.

go with the 250.

Face it, you always lose your shirt when trading in or selling.

You also have 0% financing to push new sales. This definitely erodes the used market.

Bright side is, an F250 PSD will last another 10 years easy. A long time to amortize any potential losses on the SCrew.

I would wait until the 03' come out. They are going to put a new 6.0 diesel in that truck, and a new trans. I heard from sombody but I haven't heard anything about it that the 02's are having rod failures. It was from one of the guys at www.smokindiesel.com he tells anyone that wants to sup one up that it could happen. He says that it could happen even if you don't sup it up. Something about making a change to composite rods.... i'm not sure. beside the 6.0 is going to have more power than the 7.3 and wiegh alot less. I'm waiting to buy a 03' with that 6.0 and I can't wait to test drive one:D
