Ford's hidden test feature THIS IS COOL
 

Ford decided to include a cool hidden feature (HEC Dealer test mode) in the instrument cluster starting in 99. With a simple press of the trip button and turn of the key you could not only test your instrument cluster (gauges), oil pressure and speedo senders, but get a real time digital readout of your speed, tach and other info as you drive your F150.

I tried it and it works there is also a list of trouble codes you can read through the instrument cluster.

I have 99 F150 supercab short box 4x4.Iam looking to buy a new truck my wife andI are looking at a supercrew. I would like to any if anyone has any major problems? Please posted them.

Only problem I have found so far(8,000 miles) is it LOVE'S gas.

I also have about 8000 miles and the only major problem so far is keeping my wife out of the truck. She loves to drive it!!
